The Solar Training Academy is a series of in-person and hands-on courses providing students with industry-leading solar technical training, that qualifies them to sit for the NABCEP PV Associate Exam, a sought-after solar credential valued by the industry. No prerequisites are required.

• PV 101: Basic Photovoltaics - Saturday, February 4, 2023 - 9am-5pm
• PV 201: PV Site Assessment - Sunday, February 5, 2023 - 9am-5pm

Weekend Two: March 4-5

• PV 202: PV System Design, Day One - Saturday, March 4, 2023 - 9am-5pm
• PV 202: PV System Design, Day Two  - Sunday, March 5, 2023 - 9am-5pm

Weekend Three: April 1-2

• PV 304: PV Labs and Design Scenarios - Saturday, April 1, 2023 - 9am-5pm
• PV 220: PV Exam Prep  - Sunday, April 2, 2023 - 9am-1pm
• NABCEP PV Associate Exam

Course Details: 

Designed for your busy schedule, the Milwaukee Solar Training Academy meets one weekend a month from February - April. 

Instructed by the Midwest Renewable Energy Association (MREA)  the Solar Training Academy provides students with industry-leading solar technical training qualifying them to earn their NABCEP PV Associate Credential.

Students that complete the Solar Training Academy will be prepared for entry-level careers in the solar industry.
