- Students can work through recorded presentations, and exercises at their own pace.
- Once the coursework is complete you will receive a Letter of Completion for the training.
- Students have one year to complete the course from the start date to receive credit.
Course Description:
Solar photovoltaic (PV) systems present a variety of new safety challenges in their design, installation, operation and maintenance. Because the industry is evolving so rapidly, new building and fire codes can be confusing to implement, even for experienced PV professionals. This makes inspecting PV such systems for safety and code compliance more challenging for inspectors and AHJs. This one-hour course is focused on providing essential PV safety information to inspectors, AHJs, and PV system designers and installers.
