Course Description:
This four-hour course provides participants with fundamental terms and concepts to understand how electricity works and demonstrates how to implement safe work practices to avoid electrical shock, arc flash, and job site hazards. Other topics covered include circuit components, conductor properties, basic wiring methods and techniques, and how to use electrical measuring instruments (meters).
Students can work through recorded presentations and exercises at their own pace. When the coursework is finished, a completion certificate is issued.
